Services

Sign up to my online ceramics class, order a commissioned ceramic piece, learn ceramics from traditional makers in Ecuador on an international ceramics tour, or organize an in-person workshop at your ceramic studio or school.

Online Ceramics Classes and Workshops

Learn how to build ceramic whistling vessels, ocarinas or even a simple pinch pot from comfort of your home.

If you would like to organize an online group workshop, that’s possible too! This is a great way to engage with friends in different locations.

Commissioned Ceramic Pieces

I take on a limited number of commissioned ceramic pieces. Request a unique, handbuilt whistling vessel, flute, ocarina or other pre-Colombian inspired piece.

Note that these may take several weeks to build and fire; please order in advance if it is meant as a gift of for an event.

Ceramic Tours in Ecuador

After living in Ecuador for over a decade, I have gotten to know a handful of communities around the country that create ceramics using traditional methods.

Among these are the Kichwa from the Amazon and a community of women in Calceta (Ecuadorian coast) that make traditional kitchenware.

In-person ceramics classes and workshops

I provide in-person ceramics classes and workshops. These usually occur in Ecuador, but can be organized elsewhere.

During these classes/workshops, I teach how to build basic ocarinas and whistles and move on to building ceramic whistling vessels.
